General information about Romania
Visas are not required for citizens of the European Community. For non-European citizens detailed information can be obtained from the
Romanian Ministry for Foreign Affairs or a Romanian Embassy or Consulate, to check whether you need a visa. If you do so a personal
invitation letter may be necessary (see annex documents right below), which you may ask obtain from the Organizing Committee.
Conditions concerning the remaining validity of your passeport and/or Schengen visa may also apply. Here are some documents to assist
you. We leave it under your responsibility that you check that these conditions still hold at the time of your departure.

Notice: holders of permanent residence permits issued by member states of the European Union can in principle enter without a visa, if
the permit is of permanent status and extends to at least five years. All the permits that do not fall into this category are not long-term
residence permits and hence, the holders of such permits must apply for a Romanian entry visa.
